Why I am running for Greenville County Council
I am running for County Council as a Constitution Party Candidate to aid Greenville County in reducing taxes by curbing out of control spending. There is a lack of transparency in budget matters. County Council has not been responsible with the expenditure of taxpayer dollars and now they want even more money. In a sagging economy, Council has burdened its citizens with an increased tax bill.
I would like to bring the overdevelopment of housing units under control and plan for roads to correct the lack of infrastructure, which is needed to support our current housing market. My main objective is to reshape our county council to be more accountable and conservative in their spending and planning, thus repairing the bond and building trust between the citizens and the County Council.

Hello, I’m John Langville and I am running for Greenville County Council District 24. I have been a resident of Mauldin since 1999. I am committed to the interest of South Carolinians and I have always had a strong commitment to my community and public service. I have a college background in computer programming and I am a Certified Master Auto Technician. I am currently employed by an independent repair shop. My lovely wife Kristine and I have been married for 38 wonderful years. We are active members of Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church, enjoy ballroom dancing and spend our free time pursuing limited government and lower taxes. I hope I can count on your support as I strive to keep Greenville County a great place to live, work, play and worship.
